Music camp week

The little pupil is very excited for the music camp week next week. Even the Dad and I. What is more there is our plan to get her busy on summer break to either a piano or guitar lesson. At least she will get a taste of what it is like being in a music camp where she is able to touch and feel every musical instrument that the school is providing. I heard the teacher is facilitating the keyboard and piano. What I don’t know if they have the best gibson les paul standard guitars. We hope that this will turn out to be the best music camp ever. We also hope that this the beginning of many years of music camp weekend at school.

It’s always a pleasure

How pleasurable it is to be around friends. We are all committed to each and every task that we all have to do to survive. A morning coffee and chitchats is incomparable. But what is more fun is when the kids together. My girls love being with their friends. And so are the Mommies who love never ending chats.

I hope next weekend we can meet up again over a cup of coffee and frappuccino. Since the weather is promising with at least 18ºC temperature that alone guarantees a day out.

Time for a change

I’ve been planning for a big change. In my weight that is! It’s been a while that I have thought of going serious with my exercise regime and in reducing my intake. However, pregnancy and childbirth always seems to have given me excuses not to do anything but laze around.

The husband bough a yoga CD and yoga mat to get his self a little focus. There is no need to go for yoga classes as he said is there is something to follow on the screen in the comfort of your home. He’s also been looking at some yoga products to complete his ‘yoga-at-home’ routine. Lucky for him as he is determine to do it.

The kiddos are the first to enjoy summer!

We have glorious sunshine for the past few days and hopefully it will continue. Finally, summer is here!

Though we are now back to school tomorrow, I will still love it when the kids are enjoying the weather. We have been out and about, from one park to another. The children in the playground are absolutely happy. They are the first to enjoy the weather.

Pink for safety

Love pink? You will love this boot. It is not for fashion though but for safety. This pink boot from http://www.safetygirl.com/ is just one of the many. If you think only men have safety boots and hats at work well, think again because girls have them too. Pink makes it fun. This simply means you do not have to wear boring colors even while at work. Girls’ power, that is!

A cup of heat?

A usual way of welcoming you in a people’s houses is offering a cup of tea or coffee. Not a normal way in the Philippines considering that it is way too hot in there. The temperature would not suit hot drinks but cold. ‘Would you like a cup of tea or coffee?’, a cup of heat maybe? That’s not only for hospitality-wise itself but an offer to keep oneself warm.

A little taste of Summer sun!

We hope that the heat we experienced today continues for the rest of the summer season. We thought we are not going to have any sunshine at all. What a shame that blue skies [that lasted at least for a day] came a day after a friend and her family left after their 4-day visit. It would have been great if they hadn’t have to put on thick coats and rain boots with umbrellas most of their tour. With the bright sunshine and a staggering heat as high as 15°C, the husband is now planning to get our little boy his first sunglasses. I am glad that I’ve found safety children glasses from julbo. We would have to wait for a couple of weeks though because as per safety regulation, the design that we love best is from 12 months onwards. At least that would not be so long for now. Just right for his birthday.

Sleep routine

I am happy to have peace of mind alone in front of the computer at this hour. With no one who always gets my attention, I can now focus on my tasks online. I suppose it is part of being a mother that I cannot sit down for a minute without having to get up to attend to my children’s need. You can never have too much to do when you have children. The spring cleaning I have planned is done bit by bit.I would have loved to scrub every single drawers, get rid of the unwanted so we can all be clutter-free. The toys and books in the girls’ room actually dominate.

Sleep routine takes sometimes to practice. But for now, my routine works. I hope I will keep up to it so I will enjoy another peaceful nights.

Mackie mixers

Are you looking for the best mackie mixer online? There are endless choices available out there! What you need is quality and value for money. Base on our experience in buying products, brand name and their number of years in existence are vital. We have had things bought that failed our expectation because we needed to choose the cheaper and unreliable alternative so we could save. As a friend said, the cheaper way to save money is to buy products known for its quality and value. That indeed is true.

Indoor and outdoor park, which is best?

The freezing temperature again has disappointed us. We went out to our usual playground where the girls meet many children of all ages but we could not stay longer than expected. The playground is adjacent to a guarded canal so the water temperature and the breeze made it even colder. We have expected warmer temperature when we went out so we did not bother to pick our hats and gloves. Believe or not, the girls did not refuse when I said we needed to go home. One was crying while the other was biting the fingers. I would guess it probably was her first time to feel it. Have we stayed longer, we are not far from experiencing frost bites. Had she?

As we did not have enough of the playground, I have taken them to an indoor playground. Well, not really made for a playground in particular but since Ikea is family-friendly, they have set up a place for children to enjoy. It was amazingly great as they were just having fun, less the cold temperature. Oh well, let us not forget my 9 month old little boy. He too had a slide and a rock on the toy horse. For now, indoor playground wins.
