My little girl loves Barbie and moxie girls, many girls do. And my little girl always wants to do things her way, on her own. She just created a great piece from designable hair in Barbie’s website, it is simply amazing.
Well, I know that is just a simple task, but when you think of a four year old doing it, you would simply be amazed. In my days when I wasn’t doing the house chores, we would collect empty cans and empty candy wrappers to play with, we were happy doing them because we didn’t have dolls and computers to keep us occupied. We didn’t have beautiful toys and my friends and I were satisfied and contented with having an empty sack of rice as our play mats. We didn’t bother even sitting on a ground with ants, though I am to blame why I have plenty of scars of my legs from ants’ bites. We didn’t even care whether we had beautiful stuff or what so long as we were happy.
The big difference there was, I had plenty of playmates, where my little girl is alone most of the time at home.
