I shouldn’t be. There is no way I could stop football’s current league from happening. As a football fan, I couldn’t stop hubby from watching it. It is sure funny screaming over it alone. How could I not send him to pubs where the boys are? And sure others who are alone in their houses watching it too are doing what hubby’s doing. Excitement could just let you forget who’s around you. That’s because whenever he screams our lil darling cries. For 3 years that she has been listening to her Dad doing such while watching a game, she should have been used to it. However, if the scream is unpredictable, you will sure get off your seat to tell him to stop it and cry.

There isn’t basketball here. In PI, boys gather to watch it. Nobody’s alone there. My Dad isn’t into it but if he has time to sit and be with the guys, he would. That’s another advantage being in your homeland. I watched football with hubby sometime and only when my fave team is playing. Now that Eto and Ronaldinho separated I don’t think I will still be following them. I love seeing them playing as Barcelona team.

A person’s age cannot be told just by looking on the face.

We have friends in their 60s whom we cannot believe at first. They look young for their age as compared to people back home. If you know somebody who are looking fit and healthy even in their 90s then you will definitely get what I mean. I know that climate plays a vital role in keeping up our appearances. Heat back home makes people tired most of the time. Exposure to extreme sunlight also makes our skin look dull, dry and dead. After spending a few years in this cold terrain and went home for a visit, that’s when I realized the complete difference. My daughter’s skin is moist most of the time (I found it good) but the effect to her skin after a numerous exposure to the sunlight, usually midday was extremely bad. She looked burnt our when we came back here. We didn’t found it strange while there because there are a few who look like her. I even have problems round my face; I guess I would have to stay there for a few months more, freckles will just keep coming. I also looked older though I didn’t have wrinkles.

My mother is only in her late 40s. That age here is very young to be called old. She has 7 grandchildren already but that shouldn’t mean that she is old. That age here is only starting a family. I don’t think that she needs wrinkle creams however, because she couldn’t keep it up for sure. Our nature or way of living there is always in the sun so I guess it wouldn’t be a good idea. I wish I could sponsor her here for a few months just to give her a break from heat.

I am happy with the latest achievement about our girl’s height and weight. At first, the nurse was hesitant or say worried that she needs my girl to come back by next week (which was last week) because she looks delayed[late] on this part. However, she was surprised when she weighed her in. She is spot ON! As she exclaimed. Her height is well in range. She may look small at her age, but she is completely well and healthy.Then because we are both (dad & me) is short, she should as well be within our range. We cannot expect her to stand 6 foot tall in the future. We didn’t take any vitamin supplements to boost our height before, though a cousin in law suggested I can try one.

I sometime give my daughter vitamins that I guess would be helpful e.g appetizer. But I cannot keep up with it and I think she doesn’t need any supplements if she’s eating well. I just hope that by next time we are going to see our community nurse, everything will be in order.

Who would like going outside with such a dreadful weather condition? We have had snow that lived for days a month ago that left everybody in awe. YOU would not believe that hubby only experienced snow that was as thick as that first time after 8 years of living in this state? I, on the other hand had my wonderful time taking photos of such black & white world indoors as I didn’t afford to spend a minute outside. Thankfully, there wasn’t any lost of lives after a few badly fell on slippery pavements that time.

And then again, as nature strikes(as we all say), no one could do anything to intervene. Last night’s news was completely scary though. The street where a Filipino shop is was closed because of the big fire that broke 2 separate buildings. Some of the properties were irretrievable; however some cars had their lucky escape. Sure their insurance company will cover the cost, though it matters with the cover they chose. I knew repairs wouldn’t be as bad as a complete write off. It would as well be a different story when an expensive vehicle like Ferrari, Jaguar,Bentley, etc. is involved. I am definitely sure that Ferrari partss would cost a brand new car of the cheap make. I just wish summer will be here soon.

When this year started, we thought of applying for the next big step. It involved legal matters which we took care very carefully. We asked friends’ opinions and help, luckily we passed the initial stage. It wasn’t easy going through picking and collecting the necessary requirements. We are just glad that all we do here is legal. We need not to worry on what to submit and what to do; hence we based everything on the law.

The very last thing I remember was looking out for solicitors who could declare our identities. We needed to hire somebody who knows the process well. Well that wasn’t really a big job anyway as they only have to testify and have some those papers certified. I guess it shouldn’t be hard on anybody as well to hire a lawyer on cases that are somewhat sensitive. I am glad that my girl is now back to playing her cbeebies programs on the computer. It is nice to keep her busy at times to give me break. There are times that she would ask me if she could watch youtube, I would permit however, only if she doesn’t switch to any channels at all. There are those Dora shows uploaded by some crazy people that show violence.I just wonder what came up to their minds to do that. Look at how boredom or silly moments can do.

Anyhow, I disabled some and disallow websites that are not suitable for her age. She only switches BBC and starfall, and if she would like, I would type youtube for her and watch only those I subscribe.Glad she’s learning for those things. You could just imagine how amaze her nurses are when her developmental side was assessed.They even think she doesn’t need to go preschool any longer as she would just be bored learning it over again. They suggested I should go but for the dance, piano,singing or swimming lessons instead. I wish I could really do that. Wish me luck when the right time comes.
