Diamonds are girl’s bestfriend but I found mens diamond ring to be a perfect Father’s Day or birthday present to the father of my children. Of course it is impossible to afford this time hence, I am pennyless! However, the Dad loves his cross pendant that had just recently got missing and the ring would have been the great replacement. We even discussed about renewing our wedding vows so we could get a new set of wedding rings. I found it awkward though because I didn’t know that you could renew vows?

Anyway, Father’s Day won’t be far from now. But before that his birthday would be first so the pressure is on.

I am talking about house prices that are gone back up. It was way higher pre-recession though and I think renting is not a good alternative if we want to save money in the long run. Renting would not give us the house regardless of how long we lived in there. House prices for sale are cheaper. Of course there are extra expenses associate with owning a house but better than just nothing to have in the years to come. We are still starting our family, the children are still small and I cannot go work outside of home. That just simply means that we could even afford any unforeseen expenses. We barely have nothing left as disposable income as every cent is spent for us to live. If I would have to work, it would be difficult. I know working parents are struggling to juggle between work and home. But the future is always looking bright on their side. They pay high taxes and they would have pensions when they retire.

I just binned a few containers that have been lingering around. I am talking about moisturizers from head to toe because they have different functions. The girls are using different products from ours so there are countless of this and that. If we could sum up just to one product or two and a brand that will cater both adults and children, I would be very glad.

The husband longs to use something that would give his feet and skin a supple effect and after having a demo at the supermarket using dead sea salt, he is now looking at buying Adovia dead sea salt just because he is also tired of trying different products without good effect. He is with a cream at the moment because of some reasons and we are hoping to get back to trying this brand in the future.

This would be unusually different as I am talking about brands of tea that I am currently using. I chose decaffeinated, as you may know we are again expecting and healthy eating and drinking is our priority, though I am poor at eating everything that I consider healthy. Tea is not popular at home. It is here that I started drinking it due to the cold weather and the way we adapt to how people welcome us to their homes. A cup of tea or coffee is always offered.

Barrys and Lyons are obviously big competitors. I cannot really find any difference with the taste, all I care is that I am drinking a cup of tea. I don’t particularly like other brands as big brands means quality. If you can find the difference let me know so I would start checking it myself.

I am a mother of a 5 year old little girl who loves book and reading. It started when she was just 2 and that has been a norm. We have plenty of bed time stories from classic to the old time favorites. Thanks to our friends that understand that books are indeed needed in the household. She started receiving books on her first birthday and on occassional basis. Well, not until she started school that the demand increased. Books are expensive and I always have to buy a new one since she could quickly finish reading a book that suits her age or sometimes well in advance hence, she can read brilliantly. Her teacher once suggested that we could borrow books from the library. The school had a book fair and the teacher believed that she would need more books so instead of spending a fortune, we could have borrowed books from the local libray.

Another way of saving money that I think we really should practice is to rent textbooks. This would be a neccessity when she starts primary up to college. It is not easy when there is nothing to use when you’re in school. In my days we could not buy a book on our own. Public schools provide used books to pupils that are sometimes incomplete as they’ve been handed in for years. I remember when our teacher gave us a project, a summary of Mitch Albom’s book “Tuesdays with Morrie“. I cannot imagine how affordable it is now than before. What’s more is you can rent it online. College students and those who love books would greatly appreciate this offer as they can order it at a low cost with flexible rental terms. That was yesterday with a group of Filipinos.

My husband was very determined to go cycling with friends despite of the bad weather forecast. The morning started wet and gloomy and I knew that they would be on difficulties if they would go ahead. However, he said it would be bad if he hadn’t gone out because he was ready. He wanted to go on cycling even to a different direction.

Well, the reports as they came back wasn’t nice. He didn’t expect it to be harder that he would have thought. The view from the mountains was great though and as a souvenir here is the photo from his phone.

He bids to take the family there one day but with the car this time. He had enough of the tiring journey he’d been through.

With the economic situation that most countries are in, business owners would make sure that every little detail is covered. That is why there is property liability insurance to answer those unexpected events that happen within the business premises. Just last night, the husband had a bit of accident in the job site and though minor that sure would have been the employer’s responsibility. The last time he had an accident where he went to the A & E himself and stayed there until clear wasn’t made a big deal by his previous employer though he suffered a bad headache. Sometimes our being human works wonders that you wouldn’t want other people to be in a different situation. He is well the next day anyway and was back to work as normal. He has to be careful this time around.

I so love the blue bath set that are currently on sale now. It is against the husband to get another bath as we already have two. But I want to upgrade. Instead of the two, I want to get rid of them and just have this new one which is slim and elegant looking. We bought our first bath set in 2006 which could buy us 5-6 baths this time. It is of good quality that is why it lasted this long. Three babies have used it and I think the new baby deserves a new set. Here is what I am talking about;

If there are feather dusters, there are flycatchers as well. Flies are most common in tropical areas. You will see a few here when it is warm. Flies are common for us back home. In the village, we use to eat outside. That would mean that one has to sacrifice the other hand to keep the flies away. We are lucky however; we see it, compared to the animals where flies always like bugging them. Talk about cows and horses trying to get rid of flies from touching their eyes. It bothers them a lot. One could not wag their tails when they are asleep. Therefore, to keep them comfortable, especially the lovable horses, fly sheet would greatly help. I am not only referring to the horses and cows back home but everywhere.

We might be pushing through our plans of having a picnic with friends at the park. We supposed to have celebrated Easter holiday together on Monday, but the weather was uncooperative. Looking through the forecast, it is only in weekend that we will get good sunshine. Which I think would just be fair as some of them are working on weekdays.

That gives me plenty of time to preparet the things we need for a day. We might need a safe knife like that of Martor USA utility knives because we are dealing with kids. It would also put everybody in the park fears on their faces.
