Piano lessons

Moulding a person’s character starts from childhood. That is why I am trying my best to be a good example for my daughter.

I grew up with my parents looking after my attitude full time. I would want to do the same so long as I am able. However, there are things that they lacked to help me be a productive one. I just cannot imagine that those days and years could be my stepping-stone to help me become one of the famous artists, musicians, etc. I cannot play any organ nor can sing.

Now I want my daughter's time to be put in good use. We bought toys where she could start learning the basics. On the picture is her with the toy piano. I am glad that until now, she is still trying to master the keys. I am planning to enrol her for piano lessons in the future. She will definitely be different and better than me.

teleserye makes my day

Part of my time is spent not only with the house chores and blogging. I also take some time relaxing watching my favorite filipino programs. They keep me excited, at least. For now, I am satisfied and contented with my life. What could I ask for when I am happy? Though I know that I have future commitments to face. As the Lord God said, worry not for the future, think and live life today [my own interpretation].

I am not thinking too much of getting rich. I know time will come that I coud get a job. It may not be in the next couple of years but I am keeping my fingers cross.

Based on what I said about toddlers, not most of the time they are amazing. Because they always want to do things their own, no matter how dangerous it would look like, I feel like I should give up. There was once that I keep asking her to stop shaking the side lamp. It is not ours; it is the owners so I was just scared that the light might break. As hardheaded as she can be, she instead pulled it down. It was not just the light but the breakable shade too.

We have told the property owner that we are willing to replace it. He said no, it is okay but my husband feels that it is not good to leave it this way. I tried looking the same shade in shops, unfortunately, nothing is available. However, I found one at Murray Feiss that looks like it online.

It is not really the one hence, what was broken was a side lamp but I know it would be a great replacement.

Amazingly funny

Toddlers do what they think is best for them. They seemed to develop an attitude that only they could explain. This stage is crucial. If you are a parent who easily loose patience, better yet, hire someone who is willing to understand them. I have been to series of tests. I have tried not to be tempted to buy this behavior but instead be easy. Well, it really is not easy. My girl does things she thinks she could handle herself. She is brilliant in what she does, but there are times that when it is too much, it is quite annoying. Who would have thought that at this stage, she knows which shop sells burger? One funny incident was when we went out and she was on her harness. I hate going out with her buggy because she keeps on protesting to come out and walk. I found out going with a safety harness better, especially when she is wide-awake.

That afternoon, she led me to a door. You know, when you are under a shed of a shop’s roof, you will not really care reading the sign at the top. We kept going. However, she insisted.

This way Mommy, said she [heading to McDonald’s, we were just passing by the door]. I asked what was there. “Burger, she said. Come Mummy, this way”. I really do not want her to get used to eating outside, particularly, fast food. However, because I was amazed, I came with her. I wish someone especially the Dad were there to witness her daughter’s wit.

Obviously, this is the best summer that I have experienced in three (3)years of being in Ireland. The weather is so cool and temperature is very good. There was once that I have forgotten that I am in this cold country because of the atmosphere that feels just like home.
